Thank you to our IC3 team sponsors, especially Hammer Nutrition which was a
big help with me racing three races.

The weather was sunny and warm for early February with a
light wind.

From the start of the race it looked like the team with the most riders was
going to take over the race and put their riders in front but a flyer TOOK
OFF and opened up a 35 second gap on the pack of the 35+ 4s. About the fifth
lap the attacks started and on the back side of the course at high speed
coming out of turn two there was a man hole or something like that which a
rider in front of us hit; while he was trying to flag us around with one
hand off the handlebars he hit the hole at high speed and crashed. We just
missed the crash. A couple laps later there was a crash in the hairpin which
stopped me in my tracks and it took a bit to regroup and get back on track.
It was a five man sprint to the finish. I placed 4th in the 35+ 4′s
