Apple Pie Criterium

First crit in the rain and may be the last one ever. Rain made for a very interesting race especially the corners. Right from the gun a guy rolls of the front for about 8min and we catch him. about 5 laps later the same guy and another go off and stay off. About 20ish min in 4 guys go off in a prime lap and stay off eventually bridging up and the six stayed away the rest of the race. At 2 to go I break off the front and stay away until about 5 meters from the line where 3 guys come around me.

Lessons:
1. notice who’s around me, who I know and what I know of them.
2. Don’t second guess the break that you have a good feeling is going away.
